The Reflex Medical Tubing project utilized vector based extrusion and warping 3D techniques to simulate rubber, plastic, ceramic and other flexible tubing media. 3D textures and materials were designed ranging from opaque to transparent with varying color themes. Different volume effects were evaluated with different Indeox of refractions IOR and colors. Wall thickness ranged from thin thick with changing inner radius, outer radius and both inner and outer radiuses.
Tubing end fixtures were 3D solid models with materials simulating plastic, glass and ceramic with various colors and roughnesses.
